Terms & Conditions

Please take the time to read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before booking. By securing an appointment or wedding booking with Abby Rowe, you are agreeing to these terms.

It is the responsibility of the client to understand and agree to all booking conditions, including deposits, payments, and cancellation policies.

Salon Appointments

Booking Deposit

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all salon appointments.

This deposit is deducted from the total cost of your service on the day of your appointment.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

I kindly ask for at least 36 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows enough time for the appointment to be offered to clients on my waitlist.

Appointments cancelled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 36 hours’ notice will forfeit the deposit.

Where possible, if I am able to refill your appointment time, your deposit may be transferred to a future booking at my discretion.

Change of Service

If you arrive and choose to change your appointment to a different service (for example, from a colour and cut appointment to a cut only service), this will be classed as a change of service.

Your appointment time and pricing are allocated based on the service originally booked. Any changes may result in a price adjustment and/or a shorter appointment time depending on availability.

Late Arrivals

If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. Arriving late may result in your service being shortened or rescheduled to avoid impacting other clients.

Health & Hair Condition

The health and integrity of your hair is always my priority. In some cases, I may need to adjust or decline a service if the hair condition means it cannot be safely completed or will not achieve the best result.

To help achieve the best outcome for your colour service, please arrive with clean, dry hair unless otherwise discussed prior to your appointment. This ensures your hair is in the best condition for colouring and allows for the most accurate and even results.

Payments

Payment is required on the day of your appointment.

All pricing is subject to change with notice.

Photography & Content

Photos of your hair may be taken for portfolio and social media purposes.

If you do not wish to have your hair photographed, please let me know prior to your appointment.

By booking a salon appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Wedding Bookings

Booking Fee

To secure your wedding date, a $250 non-refundable and non-transferable booking fee is required.

This booking fee is deducted from your total invoice and confirms your commitment to your date and services.

Booking fees are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances. This includes cancellations due to personal circumstances, relationship changes, financial situations, illness, weather events, travel restrictions, venue changes, or government regulations.

Cancellations & Changes

All booking details, including numbers and services, must be confirmed at the time of booking. Reductions to packages or services are not permitted once confirmed.

If you choose to cancel your booking, this must be communicated in writing via email. The booking fee will be retained in full due to time reserved and loss of availability.

Cancellations within 30 days of your wedding date will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking value.

Trials

Hair and makeup trials are optional and included in wedding packages.

Trials are held at my studio in Sawtell and allow us to plan and refine your desired look. Please allow up to 1.5 hours.

Trials are available on selected weekdays. If you are travelling or have limited availability, please discuss this during your enquiry.

It is recommended trials are booked within 4 months of your wedding date.

Please arrive with clean hair (hair trials) and clean, makeup-free skin (makeup trials). Bringing inspiration images, accessories, or dress photos is encouraged.

You may bring one guest to your trial.

Wedding Day

Parking must be provided at or near your venue. If parking is not available, arrangements must be made in advance.

An early start fee applies for bookings starting before 6am.

In the unlikely event I am unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, I will do my best to organise a replacement stylist. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.

Photography & Content

Images from your wedding may be used for portfolio and social media unless you advise otherwise prior to your booking date.

Payments

50% of the total balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding.

Final payment is due 14 days before your wedding date.

All payments must be made using your invoice reference.
