I acknowledge the Gumbaynggir people as the Traditional Custodians of the country my family and I live in today. I recognise their continuing connection to the land and waters of this beautiful place, I thank them for protecting this coastline since time immemorial. I pay my respects to the elders of the past, present, and future and extend that respect to all First Nations people present today.
